Burleigh’s Perfect Holiday Climate
The climate in Burleigh is sub-tropical with very warm summers and mild enjoyable winters. During summer the temperature range is around 22 overnight reaching into the low 30’s during the day. When it does rain the rainfall most usually occurs briefly in the late afternoon or evening.
Winters are perfect with blue skies and mild temperatures. Although the overnight and early morning can be rather fresh the days are magnificent with temps in the low to mid twenties.
Burleigh Heads ocean temperatures peak in the range 26 to 28°C (79 to 82°F) on around the 5th of February. Though you may experience some warmer days the coastal areas you will always enjoy cooling sea breezes.
Year round warm sea water temperatures at Burleigh Heads climb to their highest at the beginning of February. Even then a rash vest and board shorts should be fine for surfing at any time of year.
